The DesignerElvira Panagiotopoulou studied shoe design at Cercal, Sergio Rossi’s school in San Mauro Pascoli and gained a Master's Degree in Accessories Design at the Istituto Marangoni of Milan.
She worked with some of the most respected designers, such as Bruno Frisoni, Diego Dolcini, Narciso Rodriguez, Madeleine Vionnet, and Dolce & Gabbana.
After many years crossing between Paris, Milan, and Florence she decided to take the leap and launch in 2015 her own luxury footwear brand; DI GAΪA.
Since November 2016, Elvira based in Milan, works as well as a shoe designer for Balmain, in Paris.
Elvira Panagiotopoulou was born in Athens, Greece and raised in Paris.
She grew up surrounded by the Greek natural and the French urban environments, and became sensitive to the elements of both cultures.
Her childhood was populated with dynamic, elegant women who inspired her with their strength and sophistication.
The architects, writers, painters and designers in her family, perfumed the air around her with creativity and endowed her with a strong sense of aesthetics.
